4Culture is a new model for public support of cultural programs. It combines the resources of the public sector with the flexibility of a non-profit. Through the integration of four program areas, 4Culture stimulates cultural activity and enhances the assets that distinguish our communities as vibrant, unique, and authentic.

American Hiking Society is dedicated to promoting and protecting America’s hiking trails, the natural areas that surround them, and the hiking experience itself.

Earth Share of Washington 

Earth Share of Washington is 66 leading environmental organizations that help to protect our environment and quality of life - locally, nationally and internationally. Earth Share of Washington partners with businesses and government agencies to encourage employees to give to the environment at work through payroll giving programs, volunteer projects and involvement in their annual Day in the Park.

Great Northern Railway Historical Society

GNRHS is dedicated to the preservation, study, and history of one of America's greatest railroads, the Great Northern Railway.

IRON GOAT TRAIL 

Sixty miles Northeast of Seattle, the The Iron Goat Trail (IGT) occupies the upper and lower sections of an abandoned Great Northern Railway grade.  Hikers may travel nine miles through lovely forests of ferns, alders, and evergreens, beginning at the Iron Goat Interpretive Site at Scenic through the Wellington townsite and trailhead.  The IGT is barrier-free from the interpretive site to Martin Creek and from Wellington to Windy Point - a total of nearly six miles.  Hikers enjoy the trail today, thanks to the vision of Volunteers for Outdoor Washington and the USDA Forest Service.

Seattle Parks and Recreation: The Trails Program

The Trails Program marks the commitment of Seattle Parks and Recreation to address the need for trail maintenance, trail construction, and trail development standards within our 4000+ acres of natural areas. Under the program, we taking an inventory of existing trails and coordinating new trail development.
